"Here in this station of rain
we are whistle-strange
arbiters of dust
alongside repaired trees
and beneath a bolted sun
there is only minimal dark
and this pairing noise
is what coils to lift the sky."

Erin Elkins Radcliffe

Erin Elkins Radcliffe's poems have recently appeared or are forthcoming in The Adroit Journal, Tupelo QuarterlyThe HopperSan Pedro River Review, and Coal Hill Review. She's the author of "Station of Rain" (Dancing Girl Press, 2013) and "Bottomland" (Sundress Publications, 2017). Erin received an MFA in Creative Writing from Arizona State University, where she was the winner of the Katherine C. Turner Academy of American Poets and Swarthout prizes. She was a mentee in the Spring 2016 AWP Writer to Writer Program. Originally from Indiana, Erin lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is an Academic Advisor and instructor of English at Central New Mexico Community College.
